Animal Derived Ingredients (ADI) Free



Animal Derived Ingredient (ADI): Any material with an animal origin including plant derived peptone that could transmit TSE, rather than other vegetable or synthetic origin material.

Examples of animal derived ingredients used in manufacturing are tallow (fat), collagen, and gelatin that may be used in metal working operations such as metal surfacing (buffing) and metal working cutting operations.

The most common Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathies’s (TSE) are Creutzfeldt-Jacob disease and Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE), commonly known as mad cow disease.

To ensure that any product contact surface is absolutely free of (TSE's), we at G HWA therefore only use purely inorganic materials and synthetic oils in all metal working processes, including cutting, drilling, machining, and polishing.

G HWA Industries Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that we will once again be exhibiting at Int’l Food Processing & Pharmaceutical Vietnam 2009. The Vietnam Food Processing & Pharmaceutical show is on October 22nd – 25th at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Booth 381.

We will be showcasing our high purity stainless steel process equipment. This includes: Our pumps, diaphragm valves, sanitary valves, fittings and other components that are ideal for food, pharmaceutical, biotechnological and other ultra-pure industries.

Nearly 80 percent of the Vietnamese population is involved in agriculture, which accounts for 30 percent of the GDP and 40 percent of the nation's exports.

Although the demand for machinery and equipment in the industry is huge, the domestic machinery industry cannot satisfy the internal demand because (despite some skill in copying and reverse-engineering) it has proven poor in design and quality. For the most part, domestic equipment is used in small scale processing factories.

Medium and larger food processing enterprises and even smaller firms producing high quality products must rely on imported machinery and equipment. The food processing sector is forecast to maintain an average annual growth rate of 10 – 15 percent for the short term.
